Frequently Asked Questions
Drivers and advertisers: how campaigns, signage, and earnings work on Drive-Buy Ads.
For drivers
Do I need a certain type of car?
Most standard personal vehicles qualify, although companies may consider the vehicle’s condition, age, and appearance. Magnetic sign campaigns need clean, flat steel panels where the sign will sit—some body panels are not magnetic-friendly.
Can I approve the advertisements before they go on my car?
Yes. We allow drivers to accept or decline campaigns before committing. You’ll also follow install instructions for your campaign type (for example, removable magnetic signs vs. vinyl installed by a shop).
How is my driving monitored?
We use GPS tracking to verify mileage and campaign requirements.
Will taxes be taken out of my earnings?
In most cases, drivers are treated as independent contractors, meaning taxes are not automatically withheld.
Can rideshare drivers participate?
Yes. In fact, rideshare and delivery drivers are often ideal participants because they spend significant time on the road.
For advertisers
What signage do new campaigns use by default?
Drive-Buy Ads defaults to a magnetic sign kit: a print installer produces removable magnetic signs for car doors, and verified drivers apply them to compatible steel panels. That keeps pilot costs lower and speeds creative changes.
When can we move to vinyl decals or wraps?
You can select Vinyl decal, Window Tint, or Custom Headrest when you create a campaign if that matches your budget and timeline. Many teams start on magnets to prove the channel, then upgrade as they scale.
Who produces the signs?
A trusted print installer produces signage from your uploaded references and the placement zones you select. The platform coordinates that handoff; details may vary by market and campaign type.
