For advertisers
How are impressions calculated?
Impressions are modeled estimates based on route data from active campaigns (where location check-ins are enabled), cross-referenced with state Department of Transportation traffic count data for those road segments. We apply an industry-standard visibility index to account for speed and placement. You'll see a running estimate in your campaign dashboard — modeled from route activity, not self-reported mileage.
What does a campaign cost?
Pricing depends on your market, the number of drivers, and the ad placements selected. Month 1 includes production of all materials. From month 2 onward, you receive a deepening discount—from 15% off in month 2 up to 38% off by month 6. Exact pricing is shown during campaign setup before you commit.
Which cities do you currently serve?
We are currently active in Charlotte, NC, Wilmington, NC. If your city isn't listed, sign up anyway — we expand markets based on demand and will notify you when your area goes live.
How do I track campaign performance?
Your advertiser dashboard shows estimated impressions, active driver count, miles driven, and a live driver map when route data is available for your campaign. Longer plans include the same dashboard analytics — automated email reports are on the roadmap.
What signage do new campaigns use by default?
Drive-Buy Ads defaults to a magnetic sign kit: a print installer produces removable magnetic signs for car doors, and verified drivers apply them to compatible steel panels. That keeps pilot costs lower and speeds creative changes.
When can we move to vinyl decals or wraps?
You can select Vinyl decal, Window Tint, or Custom Headrest when you create a campaign if that matches your budget and timeline. Many teams start on magnets to prove the channel, then upgrade as they scale.
Who produces the signs?
A trusted print installer produces signage from your uploaded references and the placement zones you select. The platform coordinates that handoff; details may vary by market and campaign type.
What's the minimum budget to start?
There is no platform subscription required to build a campaign. You pay for the placements you select (e.g., magnetic doors per vehicle) plus the number of cars and months you choose—the campaign wizard shows an estimate before you submit.
How long until my campaign goes live?
After you submit creative and zones, we route production to a local print installer and match verified drivers in your city. Timeline depends on installer capacity and driver acceptance; many pilot campaigns move from approval to install within a few weeks.
What proof do I receive that ads are actually displayed?
You receive install photos when drivers apply materials, weekly driver check-in proofs, and access to the in-platform dispute queue. Impression estimates are route-modeled based on verified participation records.
What happens if a driver stops participating early?
Drivers must follow removal instructions if they exit early. We may re-match the slot when possible. Your campaign dashboard reflects active assignments; contact us or open a dispute if coverage drops below what was agreed for your plan.
What are your refund, cancellation, and dispute policies?
Campaign fees and production costs are generally non-refundable once production starts — see our Terms of Service for details. Performance concerns, install issues, and billing questions can be raised through the in-platform dispute flow or by contacting us. We review each case against your campaign terms and proof records.
For drivers
How much can I earn?
Earnings range from approximately $80–$280 per month depending on your campaign type, vehicle, and how many miles you drive. Your exact payout is shown before you accept any campaign — you're never surprised. Payouts are deposited monthly on the 1st.
Will the ad damage my vehicle?
Magnetic signs are completely non-damaging and are removed between campaigns. Vinyl decals use removable adhesive. All materials are produced by professional print installers and applied according to manufacturer specifications for your vehicle's paint type.
Do I need a certain type of car?
Most standard personal vehicles qualify, although companies may consider the vehicle's condition, age, and appearance. Magnetic sign campaigns need clean, flat steel panels where the sign will sit—some body panels are not magnetic-friendly.
Can I approve the advertisements before they go on my car?
Yes. We allow drivers to accept or decline campaigns before committing. You'll also follow install instructions for your campaign type (for example, removable magnetic signs vs. vinyl installed by a shop).
How is my driving monitored?
In our current pilot phase, campaign participation is verified through install photos, weekly check-in proofs, and admin review of assignment records. GPS route tracking is in development and will be added to all active campaigns when available.
Will taxes be taken out of my earnings?
In most cases, drivers are treated as independent contractors, meaning taxes are not automatically withheld.
Can rideshare drivers participate?
Yes. In fact, rideshare and delivery drivers are often ideal participants because they spend significant time on the road.
How are payouts calculated and when are they sent?
Each campaign offer shows the monthly payout before you accept. Amounts depend on the campaign type, zones, and your verified mileage. Approved payouts are processed on a monthly schedule (typically deposited on the 1st) to your connected bank account after admin review.
What vehicle, insurance, and branding standards apply?
You complete driver profile and vehicle details, FCRA authorization, identity verification, and upload a valid license, insurance, registration, and four vehicle photos. Admin review approves each item. Campaigns may require clean, magnetic-friendly steel panels or professional vinyl install by a shop — standards are shown on each offer.
What happens if I stop participating early?
If you leave a campaign before it ends, you may forfeit remaining payouts for that assignment and must remove signage per campaign instructions. Repeated early exits or missing proofs can affect future offer eligibility. Contact us or open a dispute if circumstances change — we handle case-by-case under our Terms.
